Haunting Bio

From the Captain's Chair
I spent my first few decades growing up in New York City, and I continue to be amazed by its diversity. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to develop as an artist at Music & Art High School, and I’ve got a degree in psychology from the City College of New York.
For the past thirty years, I’ve cherished working with the less fortunate who are intellectually disabled. I’m a member of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS-NY), and if you haven’t noticed, I am a Star Trek fan.
I’ve got two wonderful daughters who keep me on my toes and a mate who has helped me see sides of friendship and love that I never knew existed.
Haunting
My stories explore the poignant memories of my early years, my interests in science fiction, and my continuing exploration into my family roots. All this and more brought me to write my books and various short stories. Examples are the Reflections of EL trilogy, loosely based on my life, and Chronicles of the WELL, sci-fi novellas about the future of my old high school. I’ve also compiled The Castle Beckons series, three books packed with the personal experiences of alumni from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Whether rebuilding exciting facts or re-imagining passions I have known as I precariously move through the uncertain boundaries of life, one thing is certain in my writing. The memory may be fickle, but the imagination is never short on words. Welcome to my world.
