I recently attended a Talk and Q&A at the Morris Park Branch Library. Congratulations to Valerie Auguste Patin for a successful and well-received book event at the Morris Park Branch Library. She effectively reviewed her most recent book, Mom Me: Email 2 Heaven, concerning her dealings with her late mother's suffering and death from cancer and diabetes. In conclusion, Valerie emphasized that everyone (especially older individuals) needs get timely medical examinations in order to ensure good health. 

It is difficult to transition smoothly to the happy moments shared together when the recent memories of their physical anguish and suffering still haunt and torment you. For many of us, these emotional demons are worst at night when you are alone with your nocturnal thoughts.

This book is dedicated to her undying memory and incredible legacy. Contributions will be sent to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) in memory of Esther M. Auguste.
